The adventures of Jack Vinyl. By night, he’s the magnetic frontman of a traveling rock band — all velvet voice and stage lights. By later that same night… he’s something else.

In every city the tour bus rolls into, something is wrong. A string of disappearances. A corrupt promoter. A missing musician. A rigged venue deal. Smugglers moving contraband through backstage corridors.

He doesn’t go looking for trouble. Trouble recognizes him.

Between soundcheck and showtime, he trades his guitar for a trench coat. While the band thinks he’s “clearing his head,” he’s tailing suspects down rain-soaked alleyways. Questioning bartenders. Reading faces in smoky clubs. He solves the case just before curtain.

Then walks onstage like nothing happened. The crowd cheers.

They have no idea the city is safer because he’s in town.
